Lucille Orion

 Lucille was often persecuted for her strange interests and hobbies; she was entraced at times by 'fantasy' novels, mythology, and books on rituals of spiritual witchcraft. She wanted to believe it had some basis in reality but feared it didn't after a while. That said, she did normal things like play volleyball on her school's team and do her homework (despite her lack of aptitude). She would play games for hours, spend time drawing, and reading tarot. What else was there to do when one had no father figure and a cronically ill mother?

Once her mother died, Lucille learned what it truly meant be alone. She fended for herself entering and exiting clubs/bars from strangers without so much as a friend by her side. Coming home drunk, those nights she considered how she was supposed to create a career for herself when she didn't have terribly much to her name due to other family members getting far more than her following her mother's death. 

It was then that she met an older man that took a fancy to her who she eventually tried marrying. He assisted her in paying for art school. Upon finishing, the two celebrate and the man insisted on some 'fun'. It was not fun being thrown into a state of confusion as to why Lucille couldn't eat normal food anymore and her place in the Sabbat in Philadelphia. Her sire kept a safe distance from her after a bit more time together, though superficially he mentored her. She didn't understand the politics of it all too well, so she worked in the evenings selling her art, designing clothing, and leaving things be when she had no particular responsibility.

She saw what the Sabbat are capable of. She's seen how vicious they can be in their conflicts with the other sects. She wanted nothing to do with it, so she did her best to discreetly move to Baltimore. Big mistake, for she didn't account for the Camarilla and independents to be at odds with one another.
