Johnny Stone

 1970, two real estate agents, and the John Hopkins Hospital. Johnny Stone was born, and until he was 13, very little of note happened though he was bright. However, after that is when things start to get interesting. The AIDs epidemic during the 80s lead to the deaths of thousands, and as a result created a fair few restless souls - the fact Johnny could hear and know they were there was abnormal, however. The streets roiled with an unease and sorrow, and he couldn't simply pass it off as being crazy as they had told him things that schizophrenia couldn't illuminate someone to about the families of the dead. This implied a lot to the young Stone, and lead to him becoming heavily involved in the occult - after all, if he could talk to ghosts, magic and spirits - or at least, other spirits aside from the ones of the dead - didn't seem exactly out of the question. Though, at 18 and with his condition as mortal, he couldn't exactly pay the bills with his sorcery, and it's not like he got much in the way of results despite his dedication to it though he did occasionally convince some spirits to do things. And so, he joined the family business and became a real estate agent.

He was damn good from the start and only got better, it was freakishly natural, manipulating people and tricking them into buying homes that they'd end up regretting. Notably, supposedly haunted (which actually turned out to be haunted sometimes, though if they weren't he knew how to fake a ghost infestation) houses went off the shelves due to his natural mediumship, persistence like a stone, and incredibly persuasive takes on typically decrepit shitholes. This, alongside his tenacity towards intellectual studies and finance caught the eye of Tremere Magister of the 3rd Circle, Matthew Steingard. He had Tremere talents, and they weren't to be wasted.

For years, this was his life, though he did grow into fraud when he became more successful as taxes are for the stupid, at least he thinks so. It was 2004, Rise Against had released Revolutions Per Minute a year prior, World of Warcraft was on the horizon, George Bush won re-election, and Johnny Stone was still about his business. One particular aspiring homeowner, Matthew Steingard, was taking with Stone's pitch of a moderately okay high-rise, as he went into the home for a tour despite it being rather late for Johnny. When they got some place private during it - which turned out to be the master bedroom - the doors suddenly locked as Matthew proposed the idea of advancing his sorcerous pursuits, to move beyond merely illusions and speaking with the dead, and to enact magic he thought impossible. When he asked how Steingard knew about any of this, he brushed it aside and got closer - he didn't know if he was about to be stabbed, inducted into a cult, get a boyfriend, or what, as he just nodded, his gaze switching to a lamp on the nightstand nearby in case it got violent. What he didn't expect was fangs piercing his neck in a strange embrace that surprisingly lacked the pain one would put with your blood getting drained. And on that night, Johnny Stone was made into an Acolyte of the Tremere, to be cloistered in the chantry through both Sabbat and Camarilla control.

After a few nights of just getting used to being a corpse, He was taken up to the prince for evaluation. However, meeting the Prince William, he had a bad case of the yawns - not used to staying up at night yet - and interrupted his during his discussion on the structure of the Camarilla which shocked and appalled his sire even if the Prince was just minorly annoyed. Johnny also thought he screwed up and when told to come into a private conversation with his Sire he did quickly. But as his back turned, his pants ripped to reveal he was commando. Bare ass out, his sire immediately regretted his decision and a tough road was ahead for Stone as his sire's immense dislike and word spreading turned into 20 whole years of being an acolyte before finally becoming an Apprentice of the 1st Circle. He might stay that way for a good long while, but at least he can even be in wider vampire society now.
