Darrius “Anubis” Husani

 Darrius' life was one full of strife and pain growing up as a French born African in Paris, France. His mother a gorgeous African immigrant and his father a French soldier. His mother was killed when he was only seven by a group of men who cornered her in alley at night and did unspeakable things to her, each taking their turn with her before leaving her beaten to death there for the rats to feast on her. His father blamed himself for it and three years later ended his own life right in front of Darrius. Afterwards this left him alone and, on the streets, where he would learn to fight for his life each and every night.  

It was during one of these nights where he would meet a man, also of African descent, who would make him an offer that was too good to refuse. In return for food, a warm bed, and a chance to learn any profession he wanted, Darrius just had to work for him and join him every time he would go to temple for some sort of religion that he practiced. This man was Antoine Mercer, and he would end up taking him to the local temple of the followers of Set. 

Over the years Darrius would learn from Antoine and eventually be embraced by him into the Clan. This would lead to Darrius become a devout follower of the religion, specifically getting very attuned to the warrior aspect of the deity Set. He focused years upon years on mastering the art of war, various different martial arts and fighting styles, and became proficient in using most any weapon he could get his hand on, excelling most with the sword. In fact, his preferred weapon being the Egyptian khopesh. 

Eventually over time Darrius made his own mark on the world as warrior of Set, and assassin. He would make the name "Anubis" internationally known, to the point when it is mentioned that he is in any country, world leaders fear that they will end up being killed. Over the years he's become a myth and legend among the mortal world, a boogeyman to all of those in power around the world. They know that when the Jackal faced assassin shows his face, they will surely die and there's no one that can stop him from dragging them to the underworld. 

Currently, Darrius has made his way to Baltimore, as he has heard that the city is in chaos, but the Followers of Set there are thriving. Not only that, but he also needed a new change of scenery and he felt like there would be many fun opportunities for him to help spread the word of his great god. Only time could tell if he made a good decision or a bad one. One thing was for sure, he was eager to get his hands dirty in the name of Set.
