Hannah Phillips (Vonzara)

Hannah Phillips was born in Chicago to a family that encouraged her curiosity and intellectual growth from a young age. Born deaf, she learned to use American Sign Language (ASL) which opened up new ways for her to experience the world. 
Growing up, Hannah was drawn to the sciences, especially fields that allowed her to experiment with physics. 

When Hannah was getting ready to start college she received her cochlear implants. Despite the implants, she always felt more connected to the world's vibrations than to sound itself. Her black lab service dog, Jasper, became an essential companion, not only to help with daily life but as a grounding presence in the shifting chaos of urban life.

Her natural talent led her to study at Northwestern University, where she excelled in physics, even in her undergraduate program. However, it wasn’t just the academic world that noticed her talents. Sterling Wright, of Clan Tremere, became aware of her through a series of peculiar experiments she conducted that crossed the boundary between science and the supernatural. Sterling approached Hannah with the offer to assist her with her studies. 

When she was embraced into the Tremere, it was not with her consent, but with purpose. Sterling valued her intellect and saw her deafness as something to leverage to make her focused and resilient, traits he coveted in her. He ensured she was well cared for while learning her new life at his side. 

As a Fledgling, Hannah struggled to adapt to Kindred politics and the ways of the Pyramid. Tremere society, often cold and unwelcoming, was a harsh new world for her. Yet, with time she began to master Thaumaturgy. This allowed her to tap into mystical forces with the same precision she once used in her physics research. 

In Chicago, she navigated the complex hierarchy of the Tremere Pyramid with determination, keeping a low profile while perfecting her magical abilities. As the years passed Hannah proved she was a capable Childe and student under Starlitng's tutelage. Once he was confident in her skills and abilities, Sterling sent Hannah to Baltimore. 

Now, in Baltimore, Hannah has begun to establish herself, keeping her origins quiet while gradually making connections in the city’s Kindred society. While still bound by the Tremere clan’s strict traditions, she harbors personal ambitions and seeks knowledge beyond the rigid confines of her bloodline. With Jasper always by her side, she remains a figure of quiet strength, a reminder that her perceived limitations are but another form of power.
