Phirun Kryn

 Phirun himself would not be interesting without his family. His mother was a runaway revenant from the D'habi family, able to cast off her shackles in the chaos of a hunter attack on the haven of the vampire she served. Fleeing all the way from Cambodia to the USA, she died giving birth to Phirun. His father he never knew, and never cared about.

Trying to understand the powers he was born with was something Phirun struggled to do for a long time, but eventually he started to learn with his nature, and used it to worm his way through school and his social life, obsessing over the occult and history in his spare time. Now studying history at university and working at a library in his spare time, he is as of yet unaware of the world of vampires.
