Overview
Lambent was a poor transmasc queer impressionist lamp-maker turned in 1890 by a bioluminescent Tzimisce named Marius Loké who thought Lambent was too precious to be left to the ravages of the time. After Lambent was brutally beaten almost to death in an alleyway for being queer and rebellious, Marius took him in and nursed him back to health before turning him. Lambent and Marius spent the next several decades convalescing together in relative seclusion in the safety of their Villa while Marius shared his extensive Vicissitude skill and tutored Lambent in being silver-tongued and wise. Marius Loké considered Lambent to be his protege and greatest work of art. Now in the modern era, Lambent is very gingerly reentering the art scene under the guidance of his beloved mentor and Sire.

History
Lambent, born Elara Lambere in 1860, was an impoverished genderqueer lamp-maker in 1890 when he was embraced by the bioluminescent Tzimisce Marius Loké.
Lambent grew up in the very beginning of the Impressionist era and was deeply influenced by its beauty and revolutionary nature. He was inspired to create glowing works of art that showcased the interplay of light and stained glass into sculpture. He was also deeply invested in the sexual and gender identity revolution at the time and frequently spoke out about queer rights and the evils of homophobia and systemic greed. For this he drew a lot of attention, some good but also some bad.
Unbeknownst to him he had a secret admirer for the last decade of his mortal life. One of his most frequent patrons was actually a kindred that had become enamored with his particular art style. One night after closing up shop Lambent was accosted by some ruffians in the alleyway outside of his shop and almost beaten to death before his favorite patron intervened and slaughtered the lot of them.
Lambent, with his body broken, was taken under Marius Loké’s wing and lovingly nursed back to health. His body was rebuilt and modified to be a thing of beauty and practicality. When Marius was satisfied with his creation he turned him and delighted that his childe took on his ancestral gift of bioluminescence. His glowing eyes, while a flaw, became his Sire's favorite part about him in addition to the lampyridine traits they both shared. It became both a figurative and literal love language between them. Much in the same way that fireflies blink at each other to communicate.
Together they spent the next several decades convalescing together in their secluded Villa while Marius shared his extensive Vicissitude skill and tutored Lambent in being silver-tongued and wise. Marius Loké considered Lambent to be his protege and greatest work of art. Now in the modern era, Lambent is very gingerly reentering the art scene under the gentle guidance of his beloved mentor and Sire.
