Zazuka Bones

 The cult was all Zazuka knew growing up. The mothers took care of the children while their father left to do his missionary work  Zazuka had started working as a babysitter by the age of seven and gave all her money to her birth mother so she could give it to the compound bank. She never got to see a dime of what she worked for and it went that way until she was 13 and meant to get married. She was meant to have dreams of the man that was going to be her future but she never did. Zazuka thought there had to be something wrong with her. She had met some boys her age and had tried so hard to dream of them but those never came. One of the other matriarchs gave her a slip of paper and told her to read it out loud. She did, it was the name of a man who was far, far older than her.

Zazuka's mother knew what was going to happen to her kind-hearted daughter so in the dead of night she gave Zazuka a backpack full of clothes and the money she had made through babysitting and drove her to a church. Her mother had been meeting with them in secret for about a month and finally got approved. Even though she was older, she was putting Zazuka in foster care. "Be well and may God guide you." She said before seeing her for the last time. Zazuka spent several years in and out of homes, each taking a little bit of her trust with them.

She finally aged out of the system and was allowed to make a life for herself. Even then she didn't stay in one place too long. While she had learned to make money any way she could, she just never felt at home in any one place. This was good because there were some that wanted her to join a commune but she was better off going from place to place. This is what caught the eye of a woman called Rain. She too was in a part of the hippie movement and taught Zazuka all about just living off the land and letting nature guide her where she needed to go.  Peace and love became Zazuka's whole existence.

Rain wanted a companion and this young flower fit the bill. One night she bit Zazuka and then explained to her that she was part of her family now. At first, Zazuka was horrified but soon learned what the world at night had in store for her. She could keep her bus and still move from city to city. She learned the ways of the Ravnos clan, who where nomadic in nature.  She assumed that Rain got bored of her because she never saw her friend again. She mourned the loss of that friendship but not for long.

She found a Gangrel injured in the woods as she was picking mushrooms to make into one of her remedies. She fixed him up as well as she could and fed him some of the blood she had with her (not her own). It was when she saw her talking to some of the animals, the crows bringing her herbs and shiny stones that they thought she would like. He started traveling with her and Zazuka was happy to have the company, soon falling in love with the beast of a man. Her mind got so wrapped up in him that she couldn't imagine her unlife without him to an obsessive degree.
