Sunny is the Personal Assistant of Adonis Navarro Flores and has been for the past year. He's in charge of all of Adonis' mortal affairs, his household, and is also the Chief Social Media Officer for Adonis' shoe company.

More than a few people wonder why Sunny hasn't become one of the models for the luxury brand, as he's at least as attractive as they are. He honestly doesn't have the time.

Once, Sunny had been normal. 

He'd worked hard--two jobs and a side hustle--to make ends meet. He had a boyfriend he loved, and a found family that, while small, he knew would be with him to the end of everything. He'd lost his parents, but he had everything he thought he needed, and his only real worry was making enough money to pull by.

It all started to unravel though. His boyfriend went missing one night after a fight. Sunny got a new job, and instead of being happy for him Maya got upset with him for going shopping with another friend for new clothes and not her. Her taste was too 'professional' for this particular vocation and he'd needed to be fashion forward so he'd gone with Zayn, and she'd taken it personally.

Quitting his two jobs for this new one--which was more lucrative than all of the others combined--isolated him from Chance, but there were still texts and things. Just not as many hang-outs as his job was much more demanding of his time and required his complete devotion most nights.

Oh! And a new boss who, while not 'nice', was generally kind in a sort of dismissive, permissive way. A shoe designer who scoffed if Sunny looked anything less than completely put together. Who complimented his comments or opinions in the somewhat unconventional way of little 'bonuses' or gifts that Sunny didn't dare refuse.

It all fell away one night. He'd gone with Adonis to what he was told was a scouting visit for a photoshoot and ultimately ended up on his knees drinking the other man's blood in that dirty, abandoned subway tunnel. It was then explained to him--after days alone in the dark where he saw things he'd rather not talk about--what was going on. What he was now, what his purpose was, and that he was now essentially a slave. A pet. A treasured and moldable project. An ingénue learning the ropes of a new existence.

A Potential Childe.

Now, he's inextricably attached to Adonis, who isn't really Adonis, and keeps his leash tight enough to strangle him and loose enough to give him the illusion of autonomy at times. Who is alternately cruel and kind. Hurtful and gentle. 

And who he is now hopelessly, desperately devoted to.

Vicissitude Modifications Explanation:

So far, it is merely the smoothing of fine lines and very slight sculpting of his jawline and the few other rough edges. Everything so far has been to make him more beautiful and able to sustain more damage if needed. Eventually, more will be added but as it stands Sunny is hardpressed to recognize himself in any mirror.
