Thanatos

  Alexandrios was once a man of great love and compassion. He loved the world and helped those that suffered in it for most of his early years. But over time his gifts were seen as works of the devil. Then the very people he swore to help and save turned against him. They began to hunt and persecute witches and ended up burning his only daughter as a witch. That broke a piece within him that caused him to go down a path of revenge. That path turned him into a monster that truly earned the fear of those that hunted him. He lost himself to the pain and betrayal of those he had vowed to protect.

Adelaide seeing what path her husband had gone down couldn’t love him anymore. This caused him to try and find redemption. She promised to wait for him to come back to her, as a new man. But when he returned to her a year later, after atoning for his sins and regaining his love for others. He was ready to live his life with the woman he cherished and loved. But what he found was that she had moved on and fallen in love with Azazel, a man of another powerful bloodline. She was pregnant with his child and they had gotten married. This shattered him, a betrayal that he never expected, it burned out any humane part of his mind, body, and soul.

But he was found later on by a man who called himself Lorenzo Sforza. Something about him unnerved a part of Alexandrios. This man saw something in the deep darkness of Alexandrios’s heart and soul. He offered him a gift of immortality and the power to never feel weak again. Seeing this as an out and a way to finally get back at everyone who ever wronged him. He accepted and by the end of the day he was Embraced. Born anew as a kindred and member of the Lasombra Clan, he quickly learned the ways of his kind and about his newfound abilities and all the unfortunate weaknesses. Over the years he grew into an extremely dangerous figure in his clan, many kindred took to calling him Thanatos and soon enough everyone was using that name. Everyone knew him by name but not many by face. In the endhe leaned to love that name. A name he’d used for the rest of his immortal life. A name that struck fear into any that heard it. Thanatos. The God Of Death in Greek mythology. No one better than a Greek kindred to represent him.

In the more recent years his name has resurfaced in America in the black markets and the underworld. Some say he’s running his own mafia and others say he’s a hitman for hire. Most information on him as of late has been word of mouth and speculation but some have said that they spotted him in the city of Baltimore recently. Why would someone like him be there and what could he be planning? No one knows. But one thing is for sure. The city is in a perfect spot for someone that deals with the criminal underworld.
