History
History
Ambrosine's first memory, aside from a haze of fear and rage, was waking up in laboratory of sorts with stone walls, a hand outstretched to help her up. After taking it, and being brought out, she was given a brief rundown of what happened, and who the ones that helped her were: she was found in a Tremere Chantry by the Sabbat's Black Hand, during a raid in the city of Richmond, which at the time was contested. The Tremere there were slaughtered their crimes against Cainitekind, and she was incapacitated and taken down as soon as she was spotted, but luckily for her, she wasn't harmed enough to be sent into outright torpor. Whilst some wanted to destroy her for being with the Camarilla, and the Tremere, no less, one of them, the Cainite that helped her up, had never seen a Gargoyle before, and wanted to study her before just destroying her. Thankful for being saved, repulsed by how they described the Tremere, and without any memories as to how she got there or what she was doing in the Chantry, could only assume that the Tremere were hurting her, and so, to spite them, and without any other frame of reference, she went with the Sabbat willingly, wanting to repay her debt to her savior. Surprised by her willingness to go with them, the other Hand were cautious with her, but relented in letting her follow without being staked in the heart.
Once at the pack's own base of operations, they found that her memory was entirely wiped clean, and that she was sympathetic to their cause, liking the sense of camaraderie they had. After a few tests, experiments, and trials, it was found that she could glide on her stony wings, blend into the surrounding area, as well as a general strength and hardiness brought with Potence and Fortitude. While she having amnesia, the Gargoyle seemed to have enough intuitive sense of her Disciplines that it seemed like she had some familiarity with them already, suggesting that she had some experience before her Embrace, and was not a proper Pander; still, the circumstances surrounding her coming into Sabbat position left her as especially lowly, even for a Cainite. However, instead of hating her captors, or fearing the experiments, the as-of-yet unnamed Gargoyle turned her ire to the Tremere, and the Camarilla, who made the only Cainites she knew as of yet suspect her, and who put her in their line of fire in the first place. This attracted the attention of a couple of members of the pack, who saw, instead of an enemy, a potential warrior for the Sword of Caine.
