Long is her ginger hair which is normally tied in a tight braid that hangs over one shoulder. Despite being poor, Maisie tries to tend to her appearance by thrifting and modifying clothes to her liking. Unfortunately, she has yet to realise that chalk dust gets everywhere meaning a lot of her clothes are tainted with chalk residue and her skin is often stained with pigments. In terms of style, she prefers tight fitting clothing with poofy sleeves and skirt that come in a variety of floral patterns. When ‘’working’’ she wears a respirator with a tinted lens and chunky headphones that play an array of different songs which she draws to. In the centre of her chest sits a dull silver broach which she found and is actually a fetter. History History To begin to explain Maisie Grey you first need to understand her ancestry. Her great-grandfather, Czelsaw Zantosa, was a half-blooded Revenant who had a fling with Cecylia Posza. The result was a bastard daughter who spat upon a free blooded and ill-thought-out existence that her single mother revelled in. Maise’s grandmother seeing what was happening in the world around her fled to America, leaving her mother behind to be killed in the Holocaust. Wanting to fit better in the foreign country she changed her last name to Gray. Eventually, she fell in love with an American and she conceived her son, Aleksy. Alesky held his mother’s ideals and worked himself to the bone for hard work pays off. That hard work allowed him to study well and become a lawyer at Matherson Gornt Law Firm. He too ended up marrying to a woman named Nicole. Their pairing gave way to Maisie. Maisie grew up an eccentric child. She always flittered from one subject to another, never being able to keep her head on straight that was until she got her hands on art supplies. With a pencil in hand and any surface to draw on, Maisie was placated much to the relief of her parents then abject horror as she forwent socialising with those around her to focus on whatever squiggly piece of art she produced. The abstract artwork that she produced was mostly based on the colours she heard with her chromesthesia and whispers that came to her. Little did she know at the time that those whispers were the words of ghosts. Maisie’s obsession caused conflict in the house as her parents wanted her to be ‘’normal’’ and dedicated on something that was going to properly support her growing up like a good old office job both of them had. Maisie on the other hand dug her heels into the ground further which reached a boiling point when she was 18. Live or die, she was going to make something out of her addiction and to prove it she moved out of home to make a living for herself. It totally wasn’t because she was kicked out. On the street, she struggled often finding need to make use of homeless shelters and soup kitchens as what little money she earnt through being an artist, she spent to fuel her obsession. What really put a dent in her money was buying supplies to make her own chalks. Normal chalk was for the normal and she was not normal. Normal chalk didn’t have such vibrant colours. Toxic pigments were the way to go. Guided by the voices around her (spirits) and the charity of others, Maisie set up shop being a sidewalk chalk artist who produces most amazing works.Extras:- Maisie took the time to learn ASL so she could communicate with people whilst listening to her music and so she can ''speak'' without people knowing what she is saying most of the time.- Her addiction to drawing and hedonism is the Zantosa Revenant family's curse showing up in her blood. Whilst she is not the type of person to get addicted to everything, if she got addicted to another thing, her art would still come first because its that deeply rooted in her.- Maisie's form of hedonism is prudential hedonism.
