As long as a corpse hasn't fully started decaying they will take it off someone's hands to turn into a buffet. Bones will be turned into flour, cuts of muscle will be put into stew or roasted, they will make gelatine and pudding and once its all done they will hand their food out to those in the supernatural community. When the munchies get too much, they will actively hunt, choosing people who they think do not appreciate life or in their eyes do not live life to their fullest. They are neither male nor wholly female in appearance unless they choose to emphasise certain aspects of themselves. Such a mystery delights them and if someone has the balls to ask them, Shi will giggle unless such information pertains to a medical examination or study. To many they tend to wear a happy-go-lucky expression that can quickly twist to one of mad enthusiasm. Even if they chose to fully represent themself as one gender, they would still be considered peculiar as they were born with albinism. Their eyes, skin and hair hold little pigment although they choose to dye their hair black. Their hair is straight and down but they do tie it up in a ponytail when doing physical work and examinations. Sometimes Shi can be seen wearing sunglasses with circular lenses to shield their eyes from light as bright lights can be particularly unpleasant for them as due to lack of pigmentation their retinas can be burned. They do wear clothing that hugs their body such as sports clothes but they normally are concealed under a large, baggy jumper with deep pockets. Shi possesses a number of jumpers and for many different purposes although they prefer ones with water resistant fabrics that are also colourful. For shoes they like to wear canvas shoes. They prefer yellows, reds and teals. History History Shi is a product of Rosselini and Li Weng ambition as the families wanted to team up in order to strengthen themselves against the other families within the Giovanni family group. Due to being a Revenant they grew up slower than a normal human and were aware of the supernatural from the moment they were born. Rather than taking the last name Rosselini, Shi’s parents decided that Shi should have the last name Li Weng as it was their father's surname. Shi grew up in San Francisco mostly around Chinatown and Little Italy. Born into a world dyed in death and decay one could think Shi dour and miserable like many of their Revenant family members however Shi is anything but. In contrast to them Shi always delighted in the contrast between life and death from the textures to the states. They quickly came to the realisation that life and death were not entirely opposites as those who had died could still have life and those with life could still feel dead. Eventually everything would decay and die even so-called immortals. Furthermore, Shi developed a twisted love for life. To be specific Shi valued life to the extent of what it allowed people to do and what it could give others. To live was to consume and many went about their lives not realising how easily their lives could end. There were those in the world who were as zombies, unthinking and unappreciative as they moved as part of a machine to do something in their lifetime to achieve something in the future rather than acknowledging what was around them in the moment. The observation irked Shi to the point of taunting those they thought were not appreciating their life. This included those overly fascinated with studying the dead and those who they saw as completely culling their emotions. During a visit from a fellow Rossellini, Mattia Rossellini, Shi made the mistake of letting a taunt slip to which parents stood aghast and Mattia grew intrigued. After Shi was disciplined and Mattia had a discussion with Shi’s parents, Shi started studying under Mattia. During their equivalent early years, Shi moved in with Mattia. It was Mattia who taught Shi basic Necromancy and to curb their attitude a bit. Mattia in secret had been doing his own studies that stretched outside of Giovanni norms, going as far to communicate with those who could be seen as Giovanni enemies to learn more about what they knew pertaining to Necromancy and the world. Shi did not interact with these people but Mattia’s learnings were passed down to them. Mattia also took over a lot of Shi's education and guided Shi's nature towards carving up cadavers. The idea was implanted that for that sake of gathering information for the family and for themself Shi should pursue a career in forensics. Shi started gathering all the qualifications needed to get into courses which directed them to John Hopkins University as they have a renowned medical course and pathology course with a year long forensic opportunity. Knowing that there is family in the area and opportunity, Shi signed up to the university, rented a row-house in Charles Village and packed their bags to move to Baltimore. Extra Information: Shi’s name means stone but also happens to also sound like the word for four which matches up with their birthday and superstitions surrounding death. When Shi turned 65, they were given their car as a birthday present and have looked after it ever since. Parts can get expensive sometimes and at points Shi has thought about replacing it or getting a second car but they are really attached to the one they have.
