Originally from East Hollywood, Cass was found a way to survive while otherwise lost to immense poverty, surrounded by the violence and crime of gangs, and without being given a chance to amount to much. History History Born in 1981, Cass likes to tell people she has had to fight for every single thing she's ever had, including her first diaper. The truth is not very far off. One of many children born to first generation immigrants, Cass, her brothers, and her sisters busted their asses to try to make their little slice of the American Dream in East Hollywood. As a young girl, she enjoyed almost no time at all bonding with her parents save for the odd weekend morning when her mother and several siblings would be out of the house for errands, and she could bond with her dad.Together they would work on cars in their garage, sharing a passion for repairing old beaten down things and making the best of them. Well, Cass thought they did it together. In truth, she was a useless assistant but her dad humored her. Unfortunately, as she grew older what little light was in her life only seemed to dwindle. Some of her siblings 'escaped' the pit they started from, but other turned to gang life and other petty crimes, bad company, and generally poor decisions. Including Cass.Even though she grew into a naturally strong and somewhat physically intimidating woman, cutting a reputation as anything more than 'just a woman' was very tough in a neighborhood like hers. But with time and friends and some fucking ballsy plays, she was building something for herself. When her tiny gang's efforts butted up against the operation of her would-be-Sire, it was only then she was truly challenged.Her gang crushed under the heel of a much more powerful and organized institution run by a man with many lifetimes more experience than her, Cass was only able to suffer this humiliating reduction because Vito promised her that through him she could obtain the power she craved to chisel out the future she felt she deserved. A bitter bond of necessary loyalty was forged and she served as his ghoul, becoming part of his operation.During significant and substantial turmoil in Los Angeles, Vito rewarded Cass for her steadfast devotion and her utter refusal to take defeat laying down. After the woman single-handedly fended off three ghouls who almost managed to successfully assault her Domitor's Haven during the day, there was no denying the lengths she would go to any longer, and she would finally have her chance.She served as a member of her Sire's Pack for several years, until he was recently run to ground again and the rest of the Pack was scattered by even more turmoil in LA. With her support network scattered to the wind, she was approached for her effectiveness adn commitment to the cause by members of the Black Hand who had conscripted her help in the past. Offered a chance to serve, she took it, and was sent Eastward with instructions to be at the ready should more Senior members have need of her skills. This was fine by her. There was much to do in order to reclaim power from the setbacks suffered in LA.
